The Most Offensive Thing I've Seen this Year...

I stumbled across a website last week that implied that we'd soon change the way we thought about time. Instead of the current AD & BC, we'd start talking about things in terms of "BG" - Before Google. I was born in 36 BG.

I don't think so...

I think Microsoft has influenced life a lot more than Google. I undertsand that this is the Information Age, but "Before Google" as the dividing line for all of time? Gimme a break...

I don't think techno-babble is going to replace Jesus as the dividing line for history in the near future - or ever, for that matter.
